The University of Redlands men's tennis team headed to Whittier College on Saturday morning for a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) showdown against the Poets.  The Bulldogs made the most of their final outing of the season by prevailing in all completed matches for the 7-2 victory.

The Maroon and Gray captured two doubles wins with solid results, as the No. 1 duo of junior Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) and first-year Brysl Libao (Redlands, CA) cruised to an 8-2 victory before first-years Cameron Krimbill (Scottsdale, AZ) and Noah Morrow (Lakewood, CA) registered an 8-3 win at No. 2.

With the score tied at 2-2, the Bulldogs continued to roll in singles, with Libao making quick work of his No. 4 opponent in a 6-1, 6-3 decision.  Krimbill followed suit at No. 2 with his 6-3, 6-4 effort, while Lipscomb provided the winning point with his 6-4, 6-4 triumph at the No. 1 slot.

In addition, first-year Mauricio Orozco (Cancun, Mexico) and Morrow recorded wins in singles to make it 7-2.
