It was announced earlier today that junior Caroline Ordian (Palm Desert, CA) represented the University of Redlands women's golf program on the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District At-Large Team. She is one of 19 female student-athletes among various sports to garner this honor.
While well exceeding the minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 3.3, Ordian repeats as an Academic All-District selection in back-to-back years. This Business Administration major continually succeeds in the classroom and the golf course, as shown by her consecutive Redlands Scholar-Athlete awards and her three-peat as an All-American.
As a result of this CoSIDA honor, she is now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America consideration, which will be determined later this month. As a sophomore, she earned this distinction following her 2016 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Individual Championship.
Ordian is currently competing in the third of four rounds at the national tournament in Houston, TX.
