The 13th-ranked University of Redlands women's tennis team pulled off an exciting upset of No. 8 DePauw University (IN) in Saturday's non-conference match on Verdieck Courts, prevailing by a score of 6-3 en route to the Bulldogs' 12th consecutive win of the season.
DePauw came out firing and earned an 8-2 victory at the No. 3 doubles slot.
Although DePauw tied it up with a win at No. 1 singles, Redlands' Etchegaray answered with her 6-1, 6-2 performance at the No. 2 slot. In addition, Sumida kept the momentum with the Maroon and Gray by taking down her No. 3 opponent, 6-3, 6-2.

With the match already decided, sophomore Maddie Morton (Henderson, NV) provided a 7-5, 6-4 triumph at the No. 6 spot.
