Bulldog Cross Country Teams Honored as USTFCCCA All-Academic
Both the University of Redlands women’s and men’s
cross country teams were lauded as U.S. Track & Field and Cross
Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic squads, as
announced today by the USTFCCCA.
For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team
award, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA
Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team
cumulative grade-point average.
The Bulldog women own the second-highest GPA among Southern
California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) programs
honored with a 3.54. Redlands’ men boast a 3.18 GPA and rank
third among SCIAC teams that earned the distinction.
The University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire was named the 2009 USTFCCCA
NCAA Division III Women’s Cross Country Scholar Team of the
Year, while Williams College (MA) was recognized as the 2009

Both Redlands contingents earned a least a share of fourth in the
conference in 2009. The women tied for fourth in the conference
standings and took 10th at the NCAA West Regionals, while the men
