After not scoring for 14:43, the U of R found the back of the net after Ron Gvishi (FY, Albany, Calif.) fed fellow first-year Owen Nishimura (Carlsbad, Calif.) for the Bulldogs fifth goal. Then with seven seconds left in the third quarter, Gvishi found Jack Ryan (FY, Ventura, Calif.) for the goal.

1:23 into the fourth quarter the Bulldogs were able to take advantage of a powerplay opportunity thanks to Sorensen who scored. The Bulldogs got another powerplay goal, this time the goal came courtesy of Galanski as he was able to find the back of the net with 2:06 left.

Wagener and Spencer Clinton both scored in the final two minutes and Nathaniel Rucker-Jensen (Jr., Agoura, Calif.) picked up an assist as the Bulldogs fell 16-10 but did win the final quarter 4-1.

On the night they shot .345 and went 3-11 on powerplay opportunities. Wagener and Clinton both had a pair of goals. Sorensen and Gvishi both dished two assists as well. Also, all 10 Bulldogs goals came from first-years which definitely shows promise for the future.
