The annual Edwin B. Hales Bulldog Bench Golf Classic raises nearly $50,000 annually with the help of major sponsors, tee-sign sponsors, golfer fees, and auctions. As the premier fundraiser for Redlands' 25 athletic programs, this event not only supplies essential support for the Bulldogs, but honors Hales, who provided a significant monetary gift to the Bulldog Bench upon his passing in 2013.
