REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands Athletic Department announced Friday that the school will be partnering with Opendorse to help facilitate NIL opportunities for Bulldog student athletes.
Opendorse is the leading athlete marketplace and NIL technology company.  They serve the full lifecycle of supporting athletes: educating, assessing, planning, sharing, creating, measuring, tracking, disclosing, regulating, listing, browsing, booking, and more.

Their industry-leading NIL solutions help athletes and their supporters understand, build, protect, and monetize their brand value.  They currently have 100,000+ Athletes, 3,000+ Marketers, 2,000+ Sports Organizations, and 1,000+ Sports Agents.

From Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Rachel Roche, "From a compliance standpoint, opendorse provides the necessary tools and education for our student-athletes to maximize their NIL potential, while helping me keep appropriate documentation of their NIL activity."

Bulldog student-athletes will be able to create profiles on Opendorse, which will allow them to field and accept different deals or endorsements from interested parties.  Women's Lacrosse sophomore Briannah McGee has been an active member on the Opendorse space mentioning that "being able to embrace the opportunity to receive NIL, while being a Bulldog student-athlete is a blessing and further peaks my drive to perform at my best and continue to perfect the balance of being a student, athlete, and a professional."

"As we know, the landscape of college athletics is rapidly changing with the addition of the transfer portal and NIL," explained Head Men's Basketball Coach Eric Bridgeland.  "Our partnership with Opendorse is a great beginning in our efforts to support our student-athletes in exposing them to marketing and promotional endeavors."

The University of Redlands is the first SCIAC school and only one of 21 Division III institutions to partner with Opendorse.

"We are excited to have Opendorse guide and support our student athletes as they take advantage of potential NIL opportunities," Head Football Coach Jim Good explained.  "Earning money as they participate in endorsement deals, creating a strong social medial presence to monetize their personal brands, and the opportunity to establish personal business ventures are now possibilities in today's world of college athletics.  As we continue to advance our student-athlete experience, OpenDorse will assist our players to reach their maximum NIL potential."

"The Opendorse team is thrilled to bring on a premier Division III program and our first partner in the SCIAC in the University of Redlands," said Opendorse Account Executive Jake Daugherty. "It's clear that Jeff Martinez and Rachel Roche care deeply about the personal and professional development of Redlands student athletes. This partnership will enhance the student athlete experience to give the University of Redlands a top NIL program on the West Coast. We can't wait to see the positive impact our NIL solutions and education will have on the program. Go Bulldogs!"
