INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the Division III Women's Tennis Singles and Doubles Championship qualifiers and alternates this past week, and University of Redlands sophomore
Maegan Deng (Redondo Beach, CA) qualified for this year's tournament within singles.
Deng has now qualified for the national singles tournament in back-to-back years after earning All-American honors in 2024 by making it to the Round of 16. Last season she also qualified for doubles earning All-American recognition with partner
Livi Rockwood. She was voted in 2024 the ITA Division III National Rookie of the Year, the ITA Division III West Region Rookie of the Year, the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year and has now been named 1
st Team All-SCIAC in her first two seasons.
This year's championship will be hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in Claremont, Calif.
Deng had another strong season for the Bulldogs owning a 14-4 record in singles play this season, including four ranked wins over Lindsay Eisenman (Claremont-M-S), Izabele Antanavicius (Emory), Lily Dounchis (Amherst), and Ella Brissett (Claremont-M-S). Deng currently ranks No. 19 in the Division III National Rankings and No. 3 in the West Region within singles play. She also ranks No. 8 in the West Region in doubles with partner
Deja Brown (San Diego, CA).

The 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Singles Championship will commence with first and second round play on Saturday, May 24, at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif. Singles matchups will be announced in the days leading up to the start of the tournament.
