GENEVA, Ohio - The 2025 NCAA Division III Track & Field Outdoor Championships wrapped up over the weekend and following three days of competition the University of Redlands came away with four 2
nd Team All-Americans.
Allyn Asberry-Blanco (Orange County, NY) who competed at the National Championships for the first time in his career finished 13
th overall in the Triple Jump with a mark of 14.63m, 48'0" coming on his final attempt. He fouled on his first attempt before posting a 14.16m, 46'5.5" mark on his second try. He just missed out on making the Top-9 and the podium by 0.19m.
Maigan Adams (Los Angeles, CA) who competed at the National Championships for the fourth time snagged the 16
th and final All-American position in the Triple Jump. It came on her final attempt posting a mark of 11.77m, 38'7.5". She went 11.16m, 36'7.5" on her first attempt before a foul came on her second try. She missed the ninth and final qualifying position by 0.27m. She finishes her career with three All-American awards.
Corte Peterson (Tabernash, CO) competed in the Decathlon and found himself in 13
th place after five of the ten events. But the final five events on Day 2 he was able to move up into ninth place, a spot outside the Top-8 scoring athletes. He totaled 6,455 points. He made a big jump after finishing 14
th in the 110m Hurdles (16.61) and Discus (32.86m), which had him in 13
th place with three events remaining. He took advantage of the Pole Vault, his specialty event, where he scored 731 points finishing second with a mark of 4.40m. Following the Pole Vault he took 10
th in the Javelin (45.92m) and eighth in the 1500m (4:50.60) to advance up four positions in just three events. After the first day of competition he finished ninth in the 100m (11.29) and third in the Long Jump (6.77m), which had him fifth overall. He then finished his day with a 13th place finish in the Shot Put (10.70m), 19th place finish in the High Jump (1.73m), and 12th place finish in the 400m
Ella Bachmeier (Rancho Capistrano, CA) was the last Bulldog All-American, which came in the Heptathlon. She finished 13
th with 4,588 points. She finished 13
th in the Long Jump (5.26m) and 19th in the Javelin (26.10m) before finishing strong with a seventh-place finish in the 800m (2:27.41). She began the first day of competition with a sixth place finish in the 100m Hurdles (14.73). Then across her final three events she took 18 in the High Jump (1.51m), 12th in the Shot Put (10.27m), and 10th in the 200m (26.30). She earns 2nd Team All-American honors for the first time in the Outdoor Championships and the third time overall after earning it twice indoors the past two seasons.
