Garrett Krattiger selected to CSCAA Scholar All-American Team

REDLANDS, Calif. - The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) have named over 2,700 swimmers and divers to its Scholar All-American Team for the 2024-25 season, which includes University of Redlands Swimming & Diving First-Year Garrett Krattiger (Helena, MT).   

To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.

Krattiger landed on the 2nd Team for the first time in his career and is currently majoring in Business Administration.  He made his presence felt at the SCIAC Championships this past season by winning the 200 Back, the first individual event win for the Bulldogs at the Championships since 2019.  Earlier in the season he broke the school record in the 200 Back and then re-broke his own record again at the Championships with a 1:47.65.

He earned his NCAA "B" Cut by winning the 200-Back by 2.30 seconds (1:48.10), while breaking the University of Redlands school record during a SCIAC Dual meet against the University of La Verne.   
   
Nearly half of all recognized student-athletes—48 percent—majored in a STEM-related field. Business Administration was the most popular individual major, selected by 5.6 percent of student-athletes.
