REDLANDS, Calif. - The University of Redlands Esports teams are gearing up for a busy spring season getting their first taste of competition earlier this week when the Overwatch Varsity team took on the University of Hawai?i at Manoa, a team who did very well last season
The Bulldogs unfortunately dropped the match-up but did show both excitement for the upcoming season and explained how they planned to grow as a team. 

"You know with the first game back as a team, we are trying to do a lot of new stuff with the computers," explained Xavier (Floppa).  "We are doing different variations of the comps we already have in practice, but the good games are coming in the future!"
Next week Esports will be back in full swing with most teams having planned games. The arena has been bustling with students practicing for upcoming matches.

Overwatch (JV): 5:30pm on Wednesdays 
Overwatch (Varsity): 7:00pm on Wednesdays 
Valorant: 5:30pm on Thursdays 
Super Smash Bro's: 5:30pm on Fridays
