SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Weekly Release (Week 1)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Athletes of the Week Monday for Women's Lacrosse with University of Redlands senior defender Natalie Schumann (Murrieta, CA) being selected as the Defensive Athlete of the Week in the first week of voting.

Schumann set the tone for a Bulldog defensive unit that limited Occidental College to just nine shots on goal in a 12-6 victory on the road. The senior caused three turnovers and picked up three ground balls in the stalwart effort. 

Redlands returns to the field on Wednesday, February 18 for another conference game when they host Chapman University at Farquhar Field beginning at 7:00pm.
