SCIAC Women's Track & Field Weekly Release (Week 7)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) selections were made for Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week Monday with senior duals athlete Elisabeth Eichinger (Yucaipa, CA) receiving recognition as the Field Athlete of the Week for the first time this season.

The University of Redlands Track & Field teams hosted the annual Redlands Invitational Eichinger leading the Bulldogs in the Heptathlon placing 2nd overall in the field of 14 with a score of 4456 points, which moves her to No. 3 in the Division III National Rankings.  

In the seven events she placed 1st in the 200m (25.69) and Shot Put (10.76m).  She placed 2nd in the Long Jump (5.01m) and 100m Hurdles (15.00), 3rd in the 800m (2:35.97) and Javelin (28.11) and then 5th in the High Jump (1.47m).   

Redlands returns to competition this Sunday, March 29 as they compete in SCIAC No. 2 at Whittier College.
