SCIAC Men's Track & Field Weekly Release (Week 7)
REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) selections were made for Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week Monday with junior sprinter
Jaiden Coleman (Las Vegas, NV) receiving recognition as the Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and in the seventh week of voting.
The University of Redlands Track & Field teams hosted the annual Redlands Invitational Thursday-Friday with Coleman highlighting the two-day event in the track events placing fourth in the 100m Dash with a time of 10.44, which places him No. 2 in the Division III National Rankings and No. 3 All-Time in school history.
He also competed in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.60m, which was good enough for 10th Place, the 200m where he clocked a time of 21.64 placing him 7th overall and then the 4x100 Relay where he ran a 42.07 with the team finishing 5th.
Redlands returns to competition this Sunday, March 29 as they compete in SCIAC No. 2 at Whittier College.
