AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams with six University of Redlands athletes earning the honor: Sabrina Semmere (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), Faith Kasper (Menifee, CA), Mari Evonuk (Sherwood, OR), Madison Eaton (Rocklin, CA), Elisabeth Eichinger (Yucaipa, CA), and Kiera Beyer (Beaverton, OR).
To be considered the athlete must be inside the Top-50 regionally in cross country or Top-50 regionally in their event indoors or outdoors in track and field. They also must meet the grade point average (GPA) requirements. Only six athletes can be selected from a program.
Semmere, a Kinesiology major, earns her third selection in as many seasons. During her final season with the Bulldogs, she posted the fifth fastest 60m (7.93) in program history. Also, indoors she set the program record in the 200m (25.26). Outdoors she set the third fastest 100m (11.98), set the program record in the 200m (24.15), was on the seventh fastest 4x100 relay team (47.83), and the fifth fastest 4x400 relay team (3:54.72).
Kasper, a History and Liberal Studies major, makes the team for the first time. During her junior season she joined Semmere on the fifth fastest 4x400 relay team (3:54.72).
Making her first selection is Evonuk who is a Business Administration major. Indoors she posted the ninth highest pentathlon point total in program history (2,597).
Eaton, an Environment Science major, earns recognition for the first time. During her indoor season she ran the ninth fastest 800m (2:47.01), posted the fifth best high jump mark (1.57m), and scored the eighth most points (2,653) in the pentathlon. Outdoors she cleared the sixth highest height in program history (1.62m) and scored the ninth most points (3,981) in the heptathlon.
Joining Semmere on her third career recognition is senior Eichinger. She was a Political Science and Environmental Science double major. As one of the most successful athletes in program history, she posted five Top-10 times and marks during her senior outdoor season. In the 100m hurdles she ran the sixth fastest time (14.48), was on the seventh fastest 4x100 relay team (47.83) and fifth fastest 4x400 relay team (3:54.72), recorded the 10th best javelin mark (36.44m), and set the program record for points scored in the heptathlon (4,868).
The lone representative from cross country who also qualified in track, is Beyer. She is a first-time selection and a double major in Psychology and HMS: Health, Medicine, and Society (HMS). During her junior season in cross country last fall she ran her fastest 4.5K time (17:37.20). Outdoors on the track she moved into sixth place in program history in the 10,000m (39:12.76).
