SCIAC Men's Water Polo Athletes of the Week (Week 2)

REDLANDS, Calif. - University of Redlands men's water polo sophomore transfer Septime De Bonnafos (Marseille, France) was named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week following an impressive week of competition against three NCAA Division I opponents.

The Bulldogs faced a challenging slate, going 1-2 on the week, while earning a notable victory over Concordia University Irvine. De Bonnafos anchored the Redlands defense throughout the week, totaling 20 saves and three steals across the Bulldogs' three contests.

De Bonnafos turned in his strongest performance of the week in Redlands' victory over the Golden Eagles, recording an impressive 17 saves to help lead the Bulldogs to the win. He also contributed three saves and two steals against No. 16 California Baptist University.

Redlands returns to action this weekend, Saturday, September 19 when they take on Goldenwest College beginning at 12:00pm inside the TAC.
