Opened his career at the CMS vs. Redlands (Jan. 15) dual with appearances in the 50 Free (26.04), 100 Free (54.54), and 200 Free (2:04.30) ... Took fifth in the 1000 Free (11:57.47) at the Caltech vs. Occidental vs. Redlands (Jan. 22) tri-meet ... At the SCIAC Championships (Feb. 16-19), Kropp set career best marks in the 50 Free (23.09), 100 Free (50.32), and 200 Free (1:53.19).
