Courtney O’Neal returns to her alma mater as the new Assistant Track & Field Coach (Sprints) following a coaching stint at Pomona Pitzer in 2022 as the Jumps Coach after competing for four years at the University of Redlands. Overseeing the Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump events for Pomona-Pitzer, O'Neal coached numerous All-Conference athletes. O’Neal has received USATF Level 1 certification. During her time at Redlands, O’Neal was a three-time NCAA national qualifier for the women’s 400m Relay in 2019, 2021, and 2022. During the 2022 season, O’Neal ran first leg for the NCAA national runner-up team for Redlands. During her four years at Redlands, O’Neal contributed in the 100m and 400m Relay, helping Redlands rank Top-15 nationally every year she competed. During SCIAC Conference competition, O’Neal was a four-time 400m Relay SCIAC champion. In her junior year, O’Neal placed second in the 100m and third in the 200m. In her senior year, O’Neal competed in Long Jump and Triple Jump, placing third in the Long Jump.
