Biography

2010:  Continued to dominate the conference in theJavelin Throw as a junior… Opened up the season with asecond-place finish on a toss of 120’1” at the RedlandsInvite (3/19)… Won the Javelin (130’7”), tookthird in the high jump (4’9”) and made her loneappearance in the hammer (30’8”) at the SCIACMulti-Dual No.3 on April 3…   Put together animpressive SCIAC Championship meet, earning All-SCIAC honors bytossing her season-best mark of 141’9” in the Javelin,which placed her third all-time in program history, and followed upthat performance with a second-place finish in the high jump(5’1”)… Earned All-America honors for the thirdstraight time by placing seventh at the NCAA DIII NationalChampionships… Awarded by her teammates and coaches as theteam’s MVP… ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA AcademicAll-District Second-Team selection… Dean’s Listmember… UR Scholar-Athlete…  Member of theMaroon and Gray basketball team…

2009: Became one of the nation’s top athletes in theJavelin Throw… Made her season debut at the SCIAC Top-4meet, winning the Javelin Throw with a heave of 139’4”… That mark cleared the NCAA provisionalqualifying standard and eventually earned her an invitation to theNCAA Championships… Tied for second at the RedlandsInvitational in the High Jump (5’ 1 ¾”)…Garnered a fourth-place finish at the highly-competitive USC TrojanInvite with an attempt of 133’ 3” in the JavelinThrow… Placed among the top 10 in each of her events at thePomona-Pitzer Invitational, taking fifth in the High Jump (5’1”) and second in the Javelin Throw (134’5”)… Recorded her season-best height in the High Jumpat the SCIAC Multi-Duals (5’ 3”), finishing secondoverall… Won the Javelin Throw at the SCIAC Multi-Duals aswell (135’)… Topped the field in the Javelin Throw atthe SCIAC Championships (135’ 6”) while placing thirdin the High Jump (5’ 1”)… Launched an attempt of136’ 5” in the Javelin Throw at the Steve ScottInvitational, taking second overall… Won the Javelin Throwat the Occidental Invite (138’ 6’)… Took thirdin the Javelin Throw at the NCAA Championships, producing identicalseason-best marks in both prelims and finals (140’7”)… All-SCIAC in the Javelin Throw and the HighJump… All-American in the Javelin Throw… Member ofthe Redlands women’s basketball team… Dean’sList member… Redlands Scholar-Athlete…
