Biography

2016: Exceptional senior defender and captain for the women’s lacrosse team… Appeared in all 18 games while starting in 15 of them… Fired off 20 goals… Ranked tied-for-first among the squad with 53 ground balls… Snatched 22 draw controls… Her stingy defense troubled opponents, as she caused them to make a team-leading 27 turnovers… Elevated her position among the career record books with 138 ground balls and 77 caused turnovers… All-SCIAC Second-Team member… Second-consecutive Second-Team All-West Region nod from the IWLCA… IWLCA/Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll recipient… Success in the classroom resulted in becoming a SCIAC All-Academic Team selection and Redlands Scholar-Athlete… Her contributions on the field and excellence in the classroom distinguished her as the co-recipient of the Frank Serrao Senior Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award… 

2015:  Started in all 18 games as a defensive midfielder for the Bulldogs during their 10-8 season that culminated in a semifinal appearance in the SCIAC tournament… Tied for first on the team with 26 caused turnovers and ranked second with 41 ground balls… Went 2-for-2 on free-position shots en route to scoring six goals on the season…  Added three assists for nine total points… All nine of her shots were on goal… Garnered Second-Team All-West Region recognition from the IWLCA… Landed on the All-SCIAC First Team… Member of Redlands’ 2015 NCAA Division III Academic Honor Squad as recognized by the IWLCA…  Named to the SCIAC All-Academic Women’s Lacrosse Team… Also competes for the Bulldog women’s soccer team… 

2014:  Second-year midfielder for the program that advanced to the third round of the NCAA Championships for the first time in Redlands women’s lacrosse history… Contributed to the program’s 14-5 season that culminated in its fourth-straight NCAA appearance and third-consecutive SCIAC title… Competed in 18 games… Secured the midfield with 30 ground balls to rank second among the returnees… Used her tenacity to cause 16 opponent turnovers, which ties her for the team-lead among the returnees… Also snagged 13 draw controls… Scored one goal and dished out three assists for four points… Member of the SCIAC All-Academic Women’s Lacrosse Team… Redlands Scholar-Athlete… Also plays soccer for the Bulldogs… 

2013:  First-year midfielder for the 2013 SCIAC Champions… Part of the team that advanced to the NCAA tournament for the third consecutive season… Helped the squad to finish with the second-most wins in school history at 15-5… Saw time in 19 games, earning 11 starts… Fired off six scores, including one free-position goal… Picked up 16 ground balls and grabbed three draw controls… Caused eight opponent turnovers with her stellar defensive pressure… Talented dual-sport student-athlete, also competing for the soccer team… UR Scholar-Athlete… Recognized with the “Jack of All Trades” Award from the SAAC’s Golden Bones…  Dean’s List member… Recipient of the U of R Merit Scholarship…
