Todd Conger

Todd Conger

Todd Conger was hired as the Head Athletic Trainer in January 2024. Conger joined the Bulldogs from Copper Mountain College where he was their athletic trainer and eligibility specialist since September 2023. He maintained athlete injuries, treatments, health insurance, and physical examination records. He also provided athletic coaching staff with injury prevention, care, and conditioning techniques.

Prior to that he spent more than 12 years as the athletic trainer at the College of the Desert (COD). At COD he was also an adjunct faculty teaching first aid and safety. He designed and implemented their concussion policy and Return to Play (RTO) protocol. 

Conger graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton in 2008 and then earned his Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University in 2011.

Some notable events he has worked as an athletic trainer in include the Mountain West Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship (2019-23), Easterbowl Tennis Tournament (2013-23), USTA Wheelchair Championship, Indian Wells (2019-23), and the Sandstorm Lacrosse Tournament (2018-22).

Conger holds certifications in NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer (2011), Gavilan PTB Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, American Heart Association BLS Instructor (2018-present) ECSI Healthcare Provider and AED (2022-present).
