The University of Redlands bounced back with a sweep of Whittier College on Tuesday night, posting scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18. After a back-and-forth showing in game one, the Bulldogs jumped out to early leads in the remaining sets and never looked back.

In the second set, freshman Allison Light (Wildomar, CA) rattled off six straight points on her serve to give the Bulldogs an early advantage. Junior outside hitter Ali Massei (San Carlos, CA) made a similar contribution to start the third, earning five consecutive points.

Sophomore libero Chelsea Arcaris (Vista, CA) racked up 18 digs while Light dished out 34 assists.

The Bulldogs (12-12, 6-5 SCIAC) head to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Saturday for a 6 p.m. match against the Athenas.
