The University of Redlands volleyball team took on
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Saturday night, coming up short
in the four-game match, 22-25, 20-25, 25-18, 17-25.
The Bulldogs looked to junior outside hitter Ali Massei (San
Carlos, CA) to lead the offense with 13 kills for a hitting
percentage of .235. Junior outside hitter Katy Douglass (Roseville,
CA) and freshman right-side hitter Kelsey Kolar (Rancho Mirage, CA)
added six kills each. Freshman setter Allison Light (Wildomar, CA)
provided 33 assists, while sophomore libero Chelsea Arcaris (Vista,
CA) came up with 29 digs.
Redlands (12-13, 6-6 SCIAC) looks forward to Senior Night on
Tuesday as the Bulldogs take on second-place Cal Lutheran
University at 7:30 p.m.
