The No. 15 U.S. Air Force Academy (CO) avenged its 0-3 mark against the Maroon and Gray during the 2008 season with a 12-8 triumph on Saturday morning. Grosshans netted a hat trick, while Terzic and R. Floersch kept the offense clicking with two goals apiece. In addition, Dotters slipped one past the Falcon keeper to spell out the Bulldogs' final tally. Gunther and Trowbridge split time in net, collecting four and two saves, respectively.

Finally, the Maroon and Gray bounced back with a 10-8 win over NCAA Division III rival Johns Hopkins University (MD) in the team's final tilt of the event. Offensively, R. Floersch unleashed a troika of goals while Terzic, Grosshans and J. Floersch each supplied a pair of scores. Additionally, vanHartesvelt also reached the back of the net. Trowbridge faced a flurry of Blue Jay shots, posting 12 stops.

Redlands (8-10) faces a challenging slate when it travels to Irvine this weekend for the two-day UCI Invitational. It contests No. 2 UC Los Angeles (UCLA) in the first game of the tournament on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the Corona del Mar High School Pool. Depending on its result, the Maroon and Gray will face either No. 7 Long Beach State University or the No. 10 U.S. Naval Academy (MD) in its second matchup of the day. Sunday's schedule is contingent upon the results from the first two matches.
