Box Score The University of Redlands men's soccer team celebrated its senior class in grand fashion on Saturday by taking down the visiting Beavers of Caltech, 7-0. The Bulldogs remain undefeated in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) competition and sit just one victory shy of tying the program's all-time winning streak of 14 games.
Prior to the game, Bulldog Athletics honored seniors Cody Carlson (Burbank, CA), Garrett Cottam (Taos, NM), Sean Cruz (The Woodlands, TX), Danny Day (Beaverton, OR), Jamie Griffin (Seattle, WA), Joe MacMillan (Pasadena, CA), Charles Pratt IV (Phoenix, AZ), and Jason Smuckler (Woodland Hills, CA) for their successes on and off the field.
The seniors did their part in making their final home match of the regular season a memorable one with four of them contributing at least one point.
During the ninth minute, Carlson initiated the Bulldogs' scoring by recording his 11th goal of the season for the most in his career during a single season.
Day joined the scoring party when he posted one of his classic headers at the 15:08-mark.

Freshman forward Charles Izydorek (Redlands, CA) recorded back-to-back goals for the Maroon and Gray, pushing Redlands' lead to 4-0 by the end of the first half. His netters came at the 29th and 44th minutes.
Finding the back of the net for the second time in his career, Cottam punched in a score just 9:28 after the intermission.
Izydorek capped off his first career hat-trick performance with an amazing diving header at the 74:00-mark. With today's three goals, Izydorek now owns the team- and conference-lead with 12 overall scores on the year.
Sophomore midfielder Tim Berggren (Salt Lake City, UT) wrapped up the Bulldogs' offensive outburst with less than three minutes remaining in regulation.
For the first time in his career, Pratt IV saw action as a field player, compared to his traditional goalkeeping position, and tied the team-lead with four shots.
In goal for the Maroon and Gray, Smuckler picked up the victory while tallying a save in the first 45 minutes of action. Pratt IV and junior Spencer Dellhime (Highland, CA), who made his first collegiate appearance, shared time between the pipes during the second half.
Redlands (15-3-0, 12-0-0) travels to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Wednesday to face off against the rival Stags at 7 p.m.
