The University of Redlands men's water polo suffered a difficult loss to top-seeded Loyola Marymount University in Friday's quarterfinal match of the 2011 Western Water polo Association (WWPA) Championships. After rattling off the first 13 goals of the game, LMU handed the Bulldogs a lopsided loss by the score of 2-13.

The Maroon and Gray's only goals came in the final minutes as freshman driver David Sekula (LaGrange, IL) and sophomore driver Keaton Lynn (Oakley, CA) each found the back of the net.

Redlands (17-18) faces the fifth-seeded Air Force Academy in Saturday's consolation semifinal game at the Canyonview Aquatic Center on the campus of UC San Diego, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
