The University of Redlands volleyball team finished off a tough road-stint on Saturday night, falling to No. 8 Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.  The Bulldogs struggled to find their rhythm against the Regals and came up short in straight sets, 14-25, 15-25, 15-25. 

The Maroon and Gray gained a team-high eight kills from junior outside hitter Morgan Buckner (San Rafael, CA), while sophomore middle blocker Maddi Clark (Escondido, CA) and senior outside hitter Sam Dodson (Alamogordo, NM) chipped in five apiece.

Junior setter Alisha Cornick (Hollister, CA) dished out 19 assists and junior libero Brittney Overgaag (Palm Desert, CA) supplied 10 digs.

Redlands (5-8, 1-6 SCIAC) looks to rebound when it welcomes the Tigers of Occidental College to Currier Gym on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. SCIAC bout.
