CLAREMONT, Calif. – The University of Redlands Women's Tennis team competed in the ITA Fall West Regional over the weekend taking part in the three-day event in Claremont, CA, hosted by Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
The Bulldogs had 13 players on the roster compete in the regional with five teams in doubles, five players competing in Flight 1 Singles, five in Flight 2 Singles, and another three in Flight 3 Singles.
Highlights from the weekend included First-Year Maegan Deng (Redondo Beach, CA) beating 2022 1st Team All-SCIAC Performer and NCAA Division III National Championship Qualifier Carmen Bufkin (CLU), First-Year Lindsey Whelan (Mercer Island, WA) taking home the Flight 3 Singles Title, senior Livi Rockwood (Park City, UT) earning three victories in the Flight 1 Singles Consolation Draw, and the team of Madison Sherwood (Las Vegas, NV) and Karly Rojas (Destin, FL) winning the Flight 2 Doubles Title.
