SCIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Release (Week 2)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) selections were made for Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week Monday in the second week of voting with junior transfer guard Kendrick Currey (Manteca, CA) being selected as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season.     
  
The University of Redlands Men's Basketball team remains perfect on the year at 4-0 and over the weekend picked up a pair of upset wins over No. 24 Middlebury College (83-58) and No. 25 University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (82-62).  Kendrick led the offense for the Bulldogs across the two games combining for 38 points, averaging 19.0 PPG, while shooting 55% from the field to go with 10 rebounds, three assists, six steals and a block.  

Against Middlebury he was 9-of-16 from the floor for 21 points along with seven rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal.  The next day he returned against Wisconsin-Oshkosh to add another 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go with three rebounds and five steals.   
Redlands returns to the court after Thanksgiving when they host No. 9 New York University (NYU) this Saturday, November 25 inside Currier Gym beginning at 2:00pm.
