WHITTIER, Calif. – The University of Redlands Women's Lacrosse team (4-4, 2-3 SCIAC) won their second-straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) game as they blew out Whittier College 24-3 on the road Wednesday evening.

The Poets got the opening goal of the night before Emily Webster (Ladera Ranch, CA) assisted Ruby Czajkowski (West Hartford, CT) for the first of three unanswered goals. The other two connections came from Jenna Bradford (Anaheim, CA), off a Maya Weaver (Tustin, CA) assist, and Cailin Walker (Portland, OR).

After a second Whittier goal, Walker scored her second of the night, which sparked an 11-0 run that lasted down inside the eleven-minute mark of the third quarter.

During the run the other 10 goals came from Bradford, Ella Batarse (Porter Ranch, CA), and Czajkowski who each scored twice accounting for six of the goals along with Celine Flaig (Redondo Beach, CA), Webster, Catie Ramicone (Countryside, Ill.), and Jacqueline Landucci (San Mateo, CA) who tacked on the other four.

Up by 11, 14-3, Landucci scored an unassisted goal at the 6:23 mark of the third quarter as the Bulldogs ended the final 21 plus minutes by outscoring the Poets 10-0.

Webster finished with six goals and an assist as she had seven points, Batarse had a career-high five goals and a total of six points and Czajkowski finished with three goals and her two assists giving her five points.

Redlands outshot Whittier 37-9, only turned the ball over four times, was perfect on clear attempts 11-for-11, grabbed 14 groundballs, and was 4-for-7 on free-positions.
