REDLANDS, Calif. - The Biszantz Family Tennis Center will serve as one of the host sites for the ITA West Regionals as the University of Redlands men's tennis team gets its 2025-26 season underway this weekend from Friday-Sunday. The Bulldogs are preparing to make an early statement following their second-place finish in the final 2025 SCIAC Standings.
Pomona-Pitzer will serve as the primary host, where the finals will take place on Sunday, but Biszantz will also be busy with preliminary rounds on Friday and Saturday. The full ITA draws and brackets can be found at the link below:

Doubles action will start on Friday morning at 8:30 a.m., with singles getting underway at 1:00 p.m.
In the Flight A singles draw three Bulldogs are competing led by
Gustavo Marcanth (Redondo Beach, CA) as the No. 4 seed taking on Raphael Simon (Cal Lutheran) in the Round of 32 beginning at 10:30am (PPC).
Vitomir Petcov (Portland, OR) is the second Bulldog to compete in the draw taking on John Wehrle (Pomona-Pitzer) beginning at 11:00am (PPC). The last competitor is
Jack Hinkle (Bountiful, UT) who will open with Eric He (Caltech) starting at 10:30am (PPC).
In the Flight B singles draw that's where the bulk of the Bulldogs are set up with seven players competing, three of which are seeds.
Sam Parsons (Royal Leamington Spa, England) comes in as the No. 11 seed and will open with Dylan Duong (Whittier College) beginning at 11:00am (PPC).
Cooper Whittington (Lake Oswego, OR) will take on the No. 7 seed Samuel Dilworth (Colorado College) at 11:00am (PPC).
Omar Khayat (Irvine, CA) will have a tough opening match with No. 3 Amrith Kodumuri (Claremont-M-S) at 11:00am (PPC).
Tyler Pyle (Lake Oswego, OR) who claimed the No. 8 seed will open with Ethan Zou (Pomona-Pitzer) at 11:00am (PPC).
MJ Abarca (San Diego, CA) claimed the No. 6 seed and will open things up with a match-up against Adrian Daoust (Chapman University) beginning at 11:30am (PPC). Newcomer
Mateen Ghafarshad (Claremont, CA) will get his first look at collegiate competition against Ben Jorgensen (Chapman University) beginning at 11:30am (PPC) and
Alexander Losani (Grimsby, Ontario, Canada) will wrap up the group taking on the No. 2 seed Jack Yurich (Occidental College).
In the Flight C singles draw the Bulldogs have another three players competing.
Riley King (Fresno, CA) will open with Suraj Sumaj (Whittier College) at 12:00pm (PPC).
William Pullin (Peachtree City, GA) claims the No. 7 seed and will take on Alvin Stromberg (Cal Lutheran) beginning at 12:00pm (PPC).
Evan Lambert (Sarasota, FL) who is the No. 8 seed will take on Luke Downs (Whittier College) beginning at 12:00pm (PPC).
There are two Flight's for doubles with four duos paired up in Flight A. Hinkle/Pyle pair together to take on Raphael Simon/Carlo Drewelow (Cal Lutheran) beginning at 8:30am (PPC). Whittington/Abarca who were one of the top teams for the Bulldogs a year ago claim the No. 4 seed and will take on Eugen Andres/Nabih Farhat (Occidental) beginning at 8:30am (PPC).
Parsons/Ghafarshad make a newcomer pair and will open with Blake Bothmer/Tanner Ige (Pomona-Pitzer) at 8:30am (PPC). Petcov/Marcanth will open with a tough test against the No. 2 seed, Brandon Vu/Caleb Settles (Claremont-M-S) beginning at 8:30am (PPC).
Another two teams will compete in Flight B led by Khayat/Lambert who were selected as the No. 3 seed and earned an opening round Bye. They will take on the winner of Ryan Vernon/Alvin Stromberg (Cal Lutheran) and Austin Lamy/Sam Saeed (Pomona-Pitzer) beginning at 9:15am (PPC). The second team competing is the No. 4 seed of Pullin/Losani who will open with Suraj Sumaj/Dario Ludusan (Whittier) beginning at 8:30am (PPC).
The two finalists in both singles and doubles will advance to the ITA Cup in two weeks in Rome, Georgia, while the regional champions will clinch ITA All-America honors.
