On the other side the Sagehens scored the third-fewest goals with 15, but their defense was very strong, conceding only 12 times, which was the fewest.

Redlands' offensive leaders in SCIAC play were Zachary Darmanyan (San Diego, CA) and Anders Beckton (Seattle, WA) with five goals each. Connor Claborn (Santa Clarita, CA) tied for the conference lead with three game-winning goals. Beckton added seven assists to his five goals with Darmanyan and Claborn each adding four additional assists.

In goal Brady Bachman (San Diego, CA) missed a pair of games due to injury but still managed the second-highest saves per game average at 4.60. His goals against average (GAA) is 1.44, the fifth-best, and his save percentage is .767, the second-highest.

For P-P they were led by Aidan MacLennan and Niclas Ulrich with three goals each. Ulrich also had three assists, eighth-most in SCIAC, and Chris Chow who had two.

In goal Jasper Broad posted some of the strongest goalkeeper numbers with a 0.940 GAA, the lowest by more than two-tenths of a goal. He tied for a conference-high with three shutouts, led with a .920 save percentage, and averaged 4.17 saves per game, which was third.

The two teams have played to a 2-2 draw twice this season, once at home in non-conference play and once in Claremont in conference action. In SCIAC Tournament history these two teams have played five times. The Bulldogs hold a 4-1 record with the lone loss coming in the 2014 SCIAC Tournament Final, 1-0.

Overall, in tournament history the Bulldogs have now participated in 16 tournaments. They have a 15-9-2 record with four championships and six runner-up finishes. The 16 appearances, 15 wins, and six runner-up finishes are all the most within the conference, while their four titles are the second-most to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) who did not qualify this season.

The winner of this game will advance to the final this Saturday, November 8 at the location of the highest remaining seed. The potential opponents are No. 1 Occidental College or No. 5 University of La Verne who play in the other Semi-Final, Thursday.
