Women's Basketball SCIAC Athletes of the Week (Week 7)

REDLANDS, Calif. – The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Athletes of the Week Monday for Women's Basketball with First-Year Teagan McIlroy (Phoenix, AZ) being selected as the Defensive Athlete of the Week in the seventh week of voting.

McIlroy and the University of Redlands went 2-0 at the Puerto Rico Clasico with wins over Mt. St. Mary College and Montclair State University. The Bulldogs held their opponents to an average of just 40.5 points per game as the rookie grabbed 15 rebounds, made five steals and blocked three shots in addition to dishing out eight assists and scoring 14 points in 43 minutes of action.

Redlands returns to the court this weekend, December 29-30 in Las Vegas when they compete in the D3hoops.com Classic where they will take on Wesleyan University and RV Bridgewater State University.  Both games will take place in South Pointe Arena.
