REDLANDS, Calif. – The University of Redlands Women's Lacrosse team (5-1, 2-1 SCIAC) beat Moravian University 20-14 Saturday morning extending their winning streak to five games thanks to an eight-point showing from Emily Webster (Ladera Ranch, CA).

With the Greyhounds leading 2-0 Webster scored two goals within :36 seconds to spark six unanswered that included goals from April Bryant (Danville, CA), Ella Batarse (Porter Ranch, CA), Ruby Czajkowski (West Hartford, CT), and Maya Weaver (Tustin, CA).

Following a stretch of nearly 15 minutes with no goals allowed, Moravian was able to string together seven goals, while only conceding once as they went back in front, 9-7.

Redlands, though, responded with four of the final five goals of the first half as they took an 11-10 lead into the break following Nicole Sanders' (Irvine, CA) lead-taking goal with 1:21 to play.

The two sides traded goals to begin the second half before a 6-0 Bulldog run put the game away with 10:38 remaining in the fourth, leading 18-11.

During the run, Catie Ramicone (Countryside, Ill.) got on the scoreboard for the first time in the game and the third time this season. Cailin Walker (Portland, OR) and Sam Peters (Denver, CO) had assists. Bryant and Webster ended the game with their 14th and 20th goals this season.

Webster's eight points tie her for the 13th most in program history. She ties Megan Prickett for the 10th most career points with 146 and moves into eighth place with 125 career goals. Bryant quietly added eight more draw controls.

In goal Courtney Myers (Gig Harbor, WA) recorded double digit saves with 10 playing 60:00 minutes.  Each team totaled 30 shots with Redlands going 16-for-24 on clear attempts, grabbing 19 groundballs and collecting 17 draw controls.  The Bulldogs were also 3-for-7 on free-positions.
