REDLANDS, Calif. - The University of Redlands Baseball team was recognized Wednesday for their success within the classroom during the 2024-25 school year receiving the ABCA/Sports Attack Team Academic Excellence Award for the fourth straight year and the fifth over the past eight seasons.
Thirty-four Bulldogs compiled a cumulative GPA of a 3.44 that exceeded the required benchmark with eighteen athletes meeting or exceeding a 3.40 GPA.
"This award reflects the incredible work ethic and discipline of our student-athletes," said Head Coach
Aaron Holley. "They've demonstrated that success in the classroom is just as important as success between the lines. I couldn't be prouder of this group."
Eight SCIAC programs earned recognition with over 300 high school programs and more than 440 collegiate programs getting recognized with this year's award.
Presented annually by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in partnership with Sports Attack, this award celebrates college and high school baseball programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher over the academic year. The Bulldogs' recognition underscores the team's commitment to academic excellence, personal development, and competitive achievement on and off the field.
