Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Redlands Men's Soccer remains in first place with scoreless draw at Chapman

ORANGE, Calif. – The University of Redlands men's soccer team (8-1-5, 5-0-4 SCIAC) remained unbeaten in their last nine thanks to a scoreless draw against Chapman University Wednesday afternoon.  They have now posted their seventh shutout on the season as they remain atop the conference standings.

In a mostly uneventful afternoon, the two teams combined for seven shots in the first half, but only Anders Beckton's (Seattle, WA) look in the 41st forced a save.

In the second half the Panthers outshot the Bulldogs 8-4, but it did not matter as none of the looks were on goal as the two sides ended the 90 minutes the way they started, 0-0.

Redlands has a bye from Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) play this weekend so they host University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, which will also serve as the Bulldogs' senior night.
