REDLANDS, Calif. - 
D3baseball.com announced their Division III National Team of the Week selections Wednesday in the ninth week of voting with the University of Redlands having Nate Miller (San Jose, CA) land on the team as a third baseman, his first selection in his career.  Along with being recognized to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week Miller also made the 64Analytics Team of the Week and was named a Top-10 Hitter of the Week.    

The University of Redlands Baseball team picked up a huge sweep over the weekend against Occidental College (11-6, 13-10, 11-7), their third sweep within conference play this season as they improve to 18-15, 12-6 SCIAC.

Miller was ridiculous at the plate going 8-for-14 (.571) with nine runs scored, nine RBI's, four homeruns, a double and three walks.  He also added a .611 OBP and a SLG% of 1.500.  

In Game 1, which was called to darkness and finished Saturday in 14-Innings he single-handily led the Bulldogs to the win going 5-for-7 with a double, three home runs, five RBI's and four runs scored.  His biggest hit coming in the bottom of the ninth when he tied up the game sending it to extra innings with a solo shot.

In the double header, which was played Friday he again was a tough out going 3-for-7 with a combined five runs scored, four RBI's, another homerun and three walks.  Game 1 he was 2-for-3, scoring three times, driving in three with a homerun and three walks.  Then in Game 2 of the twin bill he was 1-for-4 with another two runs scored and an RBI.

This season Bulldog Baseball has now had three selections to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week, including Miller, Ian Umscheid (Beaumont, CA), and Jesse Bullard (Riverside, CA).
