AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's At-Large teams with six University of Redlands athletes earning the honor: Matthew Thorig (Mentone, CA), Troy Barker (Roseville, CA), Lennon Franklin (Redlands, CA), Adam Lambert (St. Louis, MO), Joseph Madigan (Arlington, VA), and Tanner Stagner (Laguna Niguel, CA).
Thorig, of men's golf, earns his first honor in his first year of eligibility as freshmen are not eligible. He finished the season playing nine rounds across four tournaments and finished with a round average of 79.66. He is a Kinesiology major.
Barker, a Mathematics major on the men's water polo team, also receives his first selection of his career. As the primary goalkeeper, he played and started 28 games with 741 minutes played. He had a 14.68 goal against average (GAA), .327 save percentage, 165 total saves, 37 steals, and seven assists.
Franklin completed his first season with the Bulldogs this past fall. He scored 31 goals with 16 assists, 18 steals, and 31 sprints won. He is a Business Administration major.
Lambert is the third of five men's water polo selections. During his junior season he found the back of the net 17 times with 15 assists. He added nine drawn exclusions and 16 steals. He is a Global Business major.
The fourth men's water polo selection is Madigan. He is a GIS major and earns his first selection. As a sophomore he scored 27 times with 14 assists, 12 drawn exclusions, 11 steals, and 13 sprints won.
The final selection for men's water polo is Stagner, a Business Administration major. He scored six times and assisted on another 12 goals during his junior season. Defensively he drew five exclusions and took possession away from the opponent nine times.
