REDLANDS, Calif. - The University of Redlands Baseball team was recognized Wednesday for their success within the classroom during the 2025-26 school year receiving the ABCA/Sports Attack Team Academic Excellence Award for the fifth straight year and the sixth over the past nine seasons.

Thirty-three Bulldogs compiled a cumulative GPA of a 3.34 that exceeded the required benchmark with seventeen athletes meeting or exceeding a 3.40 GPA.

"This award reflects the incredible work ethic and discipline of our student-athletes," said Head Coach Aaron Holley. "They've demonstrated that success in the classroom is just as important as success on the diamond. I couldn't be prouder of this group." 

All nine SCIAC programs earned recognition with over 320 high school programs and more than 500 collegiate programs getting recognized with this year's award.

Presented annually by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) in partnership with Sports Attack, this award celebrates college and high school baseball programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher over the academic year. The Bulldogs' recognition underscores the team's commitment to academic excellence, personal development, and competitive achievement on and off the field.
