REDLANDS, Calif. — The University of Redlands has announced the hiring of Kyle LeVier as its new Head Women's Flag Football Coach, bringing an experienced program builder, educator, and player-development specialist to lead the Bulldogs' women's flag football program.

LeVier joins Redlands after building a successful girl's flag football program at Linfield Christian School. In two seasons as the head coach, he compiled a 41-14 record, guiding the program from its launch to consecutive 20-win seasons.  

His impact was particularly notable during the program's inaugural season, when 80 percent of the roster consisted of first-time players. LeVier guided that group to the CIF Division 3 quarterfinals and was named the 2025 Ambassador League Coach of the Year.

"This is an opportunity to build something special here in Southern California with a university known for its academic excellence and real college experience. The future of flag football has a home at the University of Redlands."

LeVier's coaching philosophy emphasizes developing athletes, while creating opportunities for players new to the sport. At Linfield Christian, he focused on academics, development, and the overall student experience, which included his 2025 team posting a 4.0 team GPA.  He also served as the head coach of the 2025 Riverside County All-Star team, working with athletes and coaches representing 14 Inland Empire programs.

During his time at Linfield Christian he also served as the Associate Head Coach for track & field since 2019.  His data-informed sprint program contributed to six school records, three league records, seven league championships, and multiple CIF Finals appearances.  His commitment to expanding opportunities for girls in football extends beyond the high school season. In 2025, LeVier founded VALOR Girls Flag Football, a regional competitive program serving athletes from eight Southern California high schools. Through VALOR, he has worked year-round on speed development, position-specific skills, football IQ, and competitive gameplay, while also providing summer clinics for girls in grades 5th–8th.

LeVier has additionally shared his expertise through presentations at the Glazier Clinics on speed development, Linfield's sprint-based football model, offensive game planning, and wristband communication systems.

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, LeVier earned his B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship in 2010.
