THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - University of Redlands junior setter Makenna Vanhofwegen (Buckeye, AZ) was recognized for her standout performance at the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational over the weekend, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team following a pair of impressive matches against Hardin-Simmons University and UC Santa Cruz.

The Buckeye, AZ, native totaled 42 Assists, 7 Aces, and 14 Digs across the two matches leading the team in both aces and assists.

Against the Cowgirls, Vanhofwegen put up 20 assists, four aces, and seven digs and then followed that up with a 22 assist, three ace, and seven dig effort against the Banana Slugs.     

Redlands returns to the court this Thursday, September 24 inside Currier Gym when they host Caltech in their Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) opener beginning at 7:00pm.
