D3baseball Team of the Week (Feb. 21)
Set career-highs across the board offensively: games (38), at-bats (135), runs (34), hits (39), doubles (10), triples (1), home runs (3), RBIs (35), walks (29), stolen bases (6), on-base percentage (.434), qualified slugging percentage (.444); on the mound, Brumbaugh also set career-highs: appearances (7), saves (3), strikeouts (7), ERA (1.13) ... Opened his senior season with a 2-for-4 games with two runs, one RBI, and drew one walk vs. Puget Sound (Feb. 6) ... Was perfect at the plate, reaching five times thanks to a 3-for-3 day with a walk and hit-by-pitch, a career-high three runs scored, two doubles, and a career-high three RBIs in a win vs. La Sierra (Feb. 18) as he would be named D3baseball Team of the Week (Feb. 21) ... Posted his second three-hit game of the season vs. Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 25) as he doubled, hit his first career triple, drove in two, and scored three times ... Ended the series at Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 26) with three more hits and an RBI ... Hit his first career home run and drove in a career-high four runs as he went 2-for-2 with two walks, and two runs scored at Occidental (Mar. 19) ... Posted his first career save after throwing a scoreless ninth-inning with two strikeouts at Chapman (Mar. 26) ... 2021 (Junior | COVID-19 season)
Played in 13 games with 16 hits and six RBIs along with a slash line of .340/.373/.362 (batting average/on-base percentage/slugging percentage) ... Appeared in his first six career games on the mound; threw nine innings and went 2-1 ... Opened the season vs. Saint Katherine (Apr. 2) with a 2-for-5, one run, one RBI game ... Went 2-for-4 with a run and his first career stolen base while throwing three innings and striking out three for his first career win at Cal Lutheran (Apr. 10) ... Recorded a career-high four hits and drove in two runs in a 19-12 win vs. Chapman (May 8) ... Posted a multi-hit game at La Verne (May 15) as he had four hits overall during the three-game series.
2020 (Sophomore | COVID-19 season)
Played 10 games and hit .333 with a .407 on-base percentage; posted eight hits, three doubles, drove in three runs, and scored four times ... Recorded his first career multi-hit game vs. Whittier (Feb. 22); he also scored two runs for the first time, while driving in one run and drawing a walk ... In a non-conference win vs. Whitworth (Feb. 23), Brumbaugh recorded his first career extra-base hit ... Helped the Bulldogs win vs. Occidental (Mar. 1) thanks to a 2-for-4 day with a double ...
