Will Daniels

Will Daniels who currently serves as an Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Redlands, where he serves as the Catching Coach and contributes to offensive strategy and player development has now been named an Athletic Facilities Specialist.

A former collegiate baseball player himself, Will competed at Northwest Nazarene University (2020-2022) and the University of Redlands (2022-2024), including participation in the 2021 College World Series. Daniels was a four-year varsity player at Rim of the World High School, where he etched his name in the program's history books with the second-most career hits all-time. He began his collegiate career at Northwest Nazarene University, where he competed for two seasons and played a key role on the team that reached the NCAA Division II College World Series in 2021. He was also recognized for his academic excellence as a member of the All-GNAC Academic Team.

He then transferred to the University of Redlands, where he played two seasons as a utility player, finishing his Bulldog career with a .257 batting average, 2 home runs, and 13 RBIs. Daniels was a two-time All-SCIAC Academic Team honoree and graduated magna cum laude in Fall 2024 with a degree in Media Communications.

In 2024, Daniels served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Bulldogs, working primarily with the catchers. Under his guidance, Redlands produced an All-Region defensive catcher, a testament to his coaching impact in his first season. He also serves as the team’s first base coach and continues to contribute to the program's development both on and off the field.

Beyond coaching catchers, Will coordinates daily practice plans, assists with hitting instruction, strategizes base-running and defensive alignments, and scouts opposing teams. His responsibilities extend to facility management and running team camps, showcasing his commitment to all aspects of program operations.

Since June 2023, Will has also served as a Youth Sports Coordinator at the University of Redlands, where he leads sports camps and group activities for children ages 6-14. His work with young athletes reflects his passion for developing the next generation of players through both traditional and innovative sports programming.

Will graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Redlands with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. He also studied Digital Media at Northwest Nazarene University. His media expertise includes video production, photography, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere—skills that complement his coaching by enabling him to create effective training content and game analysis.

With strong communication skills, elite time management abilities, and a dedication to player development at all levels, Will brings both technical expertise and genuine passion to every aspect of his work in baseball, youth athletics and athletic facility management.
