Appeared in eight games with a .517 batting average ... In the season opener vs. Puget Sound (Feb. 12), she went 4-for-4 with a double, triple, and stolen base ... In a three game series with Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 16-19), Horton went 8-for-13 (.615) with five RBIs and two stolen bases.

Played in 17 games with a career high in runs (24), home runs (1), RBIs (11), stolen bases (13) ... Opened the season with a six-game hitting streak when she went 9-for-22 (.409) with five stolen bases ... Scored three times in a 11-1 win at Cal Lutheran (May 1) ... Went 2-for4 with a pair of runs, a double, RBI, walk, and stolen base vs. Cal Lutheran (May 2) ... Helped the Bulldogs run-rule Chapman (May 9) with a 2-for-3, three run, one RBI, three stolen base day ... Drove in three runs, picked up three hits, scored three times, hit her first career home run and stole another base in a 9-2 home win vs. Chapman (May 15).
2020 (Sophomore)
Played in 15 games with 23 hits, six doubles, seven RBIs, and a slash line of .434/.492/.547 (batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage); recorded a hit in 13 of the 15 games and reached in all but one game ... Opened her Bulldog career with a pair of hits, a double, and stolen base in game one vs. Whitworth (Feb. 7) then went 3-or-4 with another steal in game two ... Stole two bases, recorded two hits, and scored twice in a win in game one at Chapman (Feb. 15) and followed her performance with four hits to help complete the sweep ... Walked three times and stole a base vs. Brandeis (Feb. 21).

- Why I Became a Bulldog Student-Athlete: I chose to become a Bulldog Student-Athlete to follow my family's tradition. I am a third generation student athlete following my grandfather who played baseball and football here at the UofR, along with my uncle who played baseball and my cousin who also played baseball. Additionally, I wanted to be apart of a small school atmosphere with an outstanding academic experience.
