After graduating as the program's all-time leading scorer, Downs was named an assistant coach before the start of the 2023-24 season. During her first season she helped the Bulldogs finish fourth in the SCIAC regular season standings as they advanced to the SCIAC Postseason Tournament Semifinals.
In September 2024 she was named a full-time assistant women's basketball coach.

Played in 26 games, all starts ... Averaged 16 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists per game on 44.4 percent from the field, 41.8 percent from three, and 89 percent from the line ... Scored 417 points (eighth most in single-season history), made 64 threes (seventh most), 89.0 percent from the line (third highest) ... Help the Bulldogs to an 18-point win at Occidental (Nov. 30) as she scored a season-high 27 points (10-for-15 FG, 1-for-3 3FG, 6-for-6 FT) ... Scored 21 points (5-for-14 FG, 1-for-5 3FG, 10-11 FT) in a 70-67 win at Pacific Lutheran (Dec. 17) ... Tied the all-time program scoring record with 22 points (7-or-15 FG, 4-for-9 3FG, 4-for-4 FT) vs. Pomona-Pitzer (Feb. 4) ... After missing a game, Downs then helped the Bulldogs grind out a 58-54 win vs. Claremont-M-S (Feb. 15) as she became the all-time leading scorer ... Averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 0.5 steals per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the field, 41.9 percent from three, and 90.2 percent from the line ... Opened the season with a 20-point (7-of-17 FG, 4-of-6 3FG, 2-of-2 FT) game vs. Linfield (Nov.12) ... In a road win at Whittier (Dec. 14) Downs scored 10 points (4-of-8 FG, 2-of-6 3FG) with five assists, four rebounds, one steal, and one block in a game that got her past the 1,000 career points mark; she is the 11th Bulldog to reach the milestone ... Recorded her first career double-double with 18 points (7-of-13 FG, 4-of-8 3FG), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in a road win at Caltech (Jan. 12) ... Scored 20 points on an efficent 7-of-9 shooting from the field, 3-of-4 from three, and 3-of-3 from the line in a road win at Cal Lutheran (Feb. 12) ... Helped lead the Bulldogs past the Regals for the third time during the season with 21 points (8-of-11 FG, 5-of-8 3FG), four rebounds, and three assists in the SCIAC Postseason Tournament Semifinal.
2020-21 (Junior | COVID-19 season)
Played and started five games ... Averaged 17.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.8 steals per game ... Scored in double-figures in all five games ... Scored a season-high 26 points (7-of-18 FG, 2-of-7 3FG, 10-of-10 FT) with five rebounds and a steal at Cal Lutheran (Mar. 27).
2019-20 (Sophomore)

- A major contributor in the squad’s “double” championship that included winning the regular-season and postseason tournament titles
- Helped Redlands earn its first-ever NCAA Tournament win with an upset over then-No. 8 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
- Started all 29 games as a shooting guard/forward

- Shot 39.2% from the floor on 332 attempts for a team-high 14.4 points per game
- Converted 40.8% of her three-pointers to lead the team
