(Escondido, CA) capitalized on a feed from senior forward Erica
Jahn (Davis, CA), which proved to be the only goal of the match for
both teams.
With the 1-0 victory, the Bulldogs move to 4-1-1 on the season and
inch closer toward a National Soccer Coaches Association of America
(NSCAA) Top-25 ranking.
Redlands controlled the game from start to finish, besting the
Sagehens in nearly every statistical category.
The Bulldogs held the upper hand in shots by a 16-9 margin and
corner kicks by a 7-1 margin.
Junior goalkeeper Tenley Rawlings (Salt Lake City, UT) posted the
shutout, saving the only shot fired on goal.
Sagehen goalkeeper Carolyn Flynn stopped five shots on the evening
and allowed just one goal.
