Box Score Senior center Jordan Sanvictores' (Redwood City, CA) career-high 17 points provided the bright spot for the University of Redlands men's basketball team as it fell to a talented Biola University squad on Wednesday by a score of 47-78. Competing in Los Angeles, the Bulldogs faced an early deficit and struggled to recover en route to the non-conference loss to the Eagles.
In addition to his team-leading 17 points, Sanvictores pulled in 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.
Biola held Redlands to a mere 31.1% from the floor to go along with a less than stellar 41.7% performance from the line.
Biola knocked down 42.3% of its shots while converting 11 of 15 attempts from the charity stripe. Three players provided 10 or more points.
Redlands looks to rebound on Saturday when it takes on the Panthers of Chapman University in the Bulldogs' home opener at 7:30 p.m. in Currier Gym.
