AUSTIN, Texas – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025-26 Men's and Women's Tennis Academic All-District teams with five University of Redlands athletes earning recognition.
Men
Cooper Whittington (Lake Oswego, OR), a two-time selection, is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) major. This season he went 5-2 in singles and 9-10 in doubles with partners Sam Parsons (Royal Leamington Spa, England) and Tyler Pyle (Lake Oswego, OR).
Parsons, a first time selection, is an Environmental Science major along with a Business Administration minor. He went 2-0 individually and 8-10 with Whittington in doubles.
Women
Lindsey Whelan (Mercer Island, WA) makes the All-District team for the second consecutive season. She has yet to declare a major. In 2026 she went 12-6 in singles, all as the Bulldog No. 2. In 20 matches with Maegan Deng (Torrance, CA) in doubles, they went 15-5, all at No. 1. Their success earned them a bid into the NCAA Division III National Championships.
Maisy Reynoso (El Paso, TX), first-year eligible as a sophomore, is a Political Science and Psychology major. As the primary No. 3 in singles, she went 9-10 with a 1-0 mark at No. 1 and No. 2. She combined with Hadley Allaria (Kirkwood, MO), Eve Laurent (Portland, OR), and Jasmine Sheets (Hesperia, CA) to go 9-10 in doubles.
Then for the first time making the All-District team was Laurent. She is a HMS: Health, Medicine, & Society major along with a Psychology minor. As the Bulldog No. 6, she went 6-6 with a 1-0 mark at both No. 3 and No. 5. In doubles she and Reynoso and Sofia Ganshirt (Santa Clarita, CA) were 1-4.
