TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the 2025-26 NCAA Division III men's tennis All-American teams with Vitomir Petcov (Portland, OR) and MJ Abarca (San Diego, CA) earning the honor as doubles partners for the University of Redlands.
To qualify for All-American honors in doubles athletes must either be a top four seed in the NCAA Doubles National Championships, win a round at the NCAA Championships, which Petcov and Abarca did (Quarterfinalists), finish inside the Top-10 in the final ITA rankings, win the ITA Fall Regional, or win a first round match at the ITA National Small College Championships.
This is Petcov's and Abarca's first time being recognized as All-Americans. They are the first All-American selections for the Bulldogs since 2019-20 when Brad Cummins and Brysl Libao also earned doubles honors.
As a team they finished the season 12-8 with wins over the No. 10 and 11 (twice) ranked doubles teams. Six of the eight losses came to Top-10 teams in the No. 1, 3, 6, 8 (twice), and 9.
Petcov is just a sophomore and Abarca is a junior.
