LA CROSSE, Wis. – Elisabeth Eichinger (Yucaipa, CA), Jude Holling (Sylmar, CA), and Sabrina Semmere (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) competed during day one of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday.
Eichinger currently sits in 15th place through four of seven events in the Heptathlon. She has 2,790 points, 304 points behind the leader and 125 points outside the Top-8 First Team All-America spots. In the 100m Hurdles she took 15th with a 15.27, 18th in the High Jump (1.50m), 11th in the Shot Put (10.63m), and 10th in the 200m (26.06). Day two begins with the Long Jump at 10:30 a.m. pacific time (PT) Friday.
Semmere earned Second Team All-American honors in the 200m finishing fifth in her heat and 16th overall with a time of 24.75.
Holling qualified for the final of the 400m Hurdles after finishing third in the first heat with a program record time of 52.34. His time overall was seventh fastest, which moves him to the finals, which are set for 1:25 p.m. PT on Saturday.
